UPDATE: The Santa Ana puppy case has moved into the courts.
A 75-year-old Anaheim woman has been formally charged with felony animal cruelty after prosecutors allege she deliberately ran over and killed her puppy, Blackey, with a minivan.
The suspect has posted $20,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court November 2.
