Could Paramount Pictures really leave Hollywood?

One of Hollywood’s most historic studios is reportedly preparing for the possibility of relocating major operations out of California as Paramount’s proposed $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery remains caught in an antitrust battle.

[00:00:00] Could one of Hollywood's most famous studios actually leave California? [00:00:04] Paramount is reportedly preparing for the possibility of relocating as its proposed $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery remains caught in an antitrust battle with California and 11 other states. [00:00:20] CEO David Ellison has previously raised the possibility of moving operations to states including Tennessee, Texas or Georgia. [00:00:30] But Paramount has not officially announced that it is leaving California, and there may still be room for a deal. Paramount and California Attorney General Rob Bonta's representatives are scheduled for court ordered settlement talks on October 14th and 15th. For now, Paramount's historic Hollywood home remains on Melrose Avenue, but its future in California is increasingly uncertain. Follow STM Daily News for updates.
